What we do

1. Conduct screening camps (medical and surgical) in different parts of country.

2. Identify people in need of aid like prosthesis and provide them the required aid.

3. Identify people who cannot afford the surgical treatment which if timely provided can prevent disability and help them with treatment and rehabilitation through coordination with hospitals.

4. Work through community participation to identify the people in need.

5. Conduct community awareness program for the prevention of preventable disabilities (CTEV, DDH, neglected fracture dislocation etc).

6. Ensure active participation and collaboration with INGOs/GOs/ NGOs and to develop a networking among local partners. 

7. Promote and strengthen volunteerism among the health workers. 

8. Support and enhance research activities.   

Currently as baby steps DPR Nepal is helping needy patients admitted in Patan Hospital with financial support making hospital stay easier and easing treatment process. 

DPR Nepal has recently conducted a medical screening camp in Suddhodhan Rural Municipality Rupandehi.

Our Mission

Provide best possible treatment/intervention to the people aiming to prevent/treat or rehabilitating the people with physical disability.

Our Goal:

1. To identify needy children with congenital deformities and take early and appropriate intervention (treatment and rehabilitation) to prevent deformity.

2. To financially help the economically weak, socially disadvantaged and marginalized people for the treatment and rehabilitation.  

3. To establish a dedicated center for the appropriate management of childhood disabilities.
